Yesterday Was My Birthday

Yesterday was my 28th birthday. My mother happened to be off work so she asked where I wanted to go out to eat. The only obvious answer is Denny's, because of the free birthday grand slam. So we packed up baby girl and went, three generations of females out for breakfast. I remember when I was pregnant I read that at that moment my daughter had the most eggs that she would have in her lifetime. I then saw this photo describing the fact that my mother carried my daughter, because she carried me and I carried the egg that would become my daughter. Sometimes it's a surreal moment when all three of us are together.

After breakfast we journeyed over to Target. Baby girl's birthday is coming up soon and my Mom was picking out clothes to buy her. I'm excited for summer time since she's going to have adorable dresses and rompers to wear. Also, SANDALS!

One of the made reasons we went to Target was because I mentioned to my Mom that I needed to borrow her carpet cleaning vacuum. I have cream carpet everywhere but the kitchen and bathroom, and I hate it. My dog also has a small bladder and a jealous streak, so my carpet needs a deep cleaning. I didn't want her to spend as much money as she did but she bought me the Bissell Proheat Essential, thankfully it was on sale. I wanted something with heat to it and this was the cheapest option with heat, since (in my experience) things just get cleaner with heat. I tried to run my counter-top dishwasher I used to have on cold one time, nothing got clean. It was, admittedly, a dumb move on my part, but my hot water heater wasn't working at the time. But that's all a story for a different time.

I've put the Bissell together but I haven't used it yet. I was video chatting my brother after putting it together and showing him what I got for my birthday, all excited, and he called me old. It's the little things that make me happy, man! Anyways, we purchased the 3X concentration pet urine solution also. I'm really hoping this can get the stains out of my carpet. Even if I hate that I have carpet, it was brand new when we purchased the house in 2017, and it has been a soft cushion on my walking 11 month old when she falls on her butt.

The last thing I want to share with y'all today is a very blurry photo of my daughter's outfit from my birthday, because we're nerds and she moves fast.
